He hated one track on the album and loved the rest.

Since buying the record with his many-Christmases-ago Christmas money, he had bought the album on Cassette, CD, "Collectors's Edition Box Set CD and, most recently, on remastered 180 gramme vinyl.

But only the original LP sounded like the Velvet Underground to him.

The house with the address written on biro on the cover no longer existed.
