A Light Dusting of Snow
3.4C with bright spells and snow flurries. Wind to 29 mph with gusts to 43 mph.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had a walk round the harbour. I took Maeve round towards the Signal Tower museum again to see if I could get a sunrise like picture. The sun is a little higher in the sky these days but a picture through the harbour entrance was still possible.
We walked round the inner harbour to the boatyard. A light dusting of snow was visible on some of the boats. A different boat was on the slipway. The fishing boat that had been on the slipway was tied up in the outer harbour. The other fishing boat called Marigold, that was on the slipway a while back, is in the inner harbour where work is still being done ... slowly. I don't think any of the boats had gone out of the harbour today.
Even today with the freezing wind there was a fisherman on the outer harbour wall. The lock gate to the inner harbour was closed so we could walk round in a loop to get back to the car. Maeve seemed keen to get back in the warm.
Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. No Nano today. Just a 2 mile loop down to the shore road and round the main road and back home. There have been snow flurries on and off but so far it isn't lying.
