My new toy arrived this morning.  Had my eye on it for a while.  The price was right with a Canon winter cash back so I had to buy it.  I actually went to a small local photo shop to see if they can make me an offer.  Considering that I knew exactly what I want and that I was not asking for advice, I was still quoted an outragous price.  Just wanted to give them some business, but decided to buy it online after all.
I used to support the local shops whenever I received an advice on something.  It was worth to pay extra, but not when I know exactly what I want.
