Six shrink-wrapped silver birch. It feels a bit early but next week we're having all the doors and windows delivered so will never be able to lug them through two houses to the courtyard once they're sealed up.
We're all dreading that delivery, twenty five triple glazed window and door units, most of which will weigh in excess of 300kg and as big as 3.5x2.5m. They'll be dropped on the road hopefully first thing and have to be inside by the end of the day. It involves going up through various scaffolding levels and down through buildings without damaging them. A lot can go wrong.
