Toad in the hole

Toad in the whole with a twist! The twist being swapping our usual pork sausages with some venison ones!

Now Tim and myself don't have much luck with toad in the hole. We can cook a Yorkshire pudding like nobodies business but we really struggle to get the batter of toad in the hole to cook properly, and tonight was no different!

The sausages were delicious and the onion gravy was beautiful! However the batter was slightly undercooked as usual!

Oh well, we will just have to keep practising!
