A bargain splash

I find it hard to resist buying the cheap bunches of daffodils at this time of year, still in tight bud and tied together with elastic bands.
They open slowly at first, and then suddenly you have a wonderful display of spring flowers, deep yellow a faint perfume, and the promise of spring!
