An apple today

Restoring Melbourn's heritage - our garden now proudly sports its own apple tree.  Great advice from Phillimore's garden centre as ever, who have an inside knowledge of who has what trees and what soil's where in the village!

Tempted this morning to try Dunstable as on the "could just" side of things - but it was looking very frisky.  The downpour on the webcam and then the  gradually rising average of very gusty winds did for me - turned out to be a wise decision not to go.

Instead, the garden now has its tree, leeks are up, and I finally spied purple sprouting broccoli.  Tracker is progressed (maybe release tomorrow) and the sofa has been kept company.
