Looking for just the right photo

Just a few minutes before this photo was taken my friend and I were huddled in her car as a shower of snow swirled madly around us. We decided to take advantage of the mostly sunny day and take a jaunt outside the city to find some wintery subject matter for our daily blip. This is near the Roslin Glen and beyond that the snowy Pentland hills. We ended the afternoon in a cosy pub in Roslin, a warm relief from the cold path we had just been on!
