Mums Birthday!

We drove to Bolton abbey,which turns out isnt in Bolton its in Yorkshire ! It snowed when we got there and hailed and rained and then the sun came out and the weather was like that alll day! Rushed in a cafe and had a hot chocolate and shared orange cake with charlotte. There were lots of aggressive cyclists! Then we set out on a long walk there were little streams and sheep and trees with money on and also ones with climbing wall steps ! We crossed the bridge to the abbey and looked inside the little church which played haunting music. We lit a candle admiring the stain glass windows, there were lots of grave stones and a little folly on the way back. Sadly my phone ran out of battery so I couldnt take many pictures :-((. Next We climbed over fences crossed fields with sheep in (Charlotte was frightened of the sheep!)and set out on another walk to a little rea room. I had a sandwich with ham, Dad was amused by the mugs they sold there and we set back on our way. We worked out we'd walked 5.2 miles altogether ! I was ssoo glad to get back to the car and we listened to the Corrs and Sam smith and then got stuck in soo much traffic ending up arriving at grannies at seven. Apparantly my face looks fatter than usual according to Grandad ! Came home had cake and dominos and opened presents whilst watching Sherlock. Mum got lots of presents.
