ON THE WAY OUT:

That is how I've been for the last four days, after developing an excruciating case of gastroenteritis, a fancy name I think for food poisoning. Spent the first 2 days in bed but dragged myself out yesterday to go to the Doctor; the sweet young thing told me it could last from 6 to 10 days. That was charming news ! Oh I thought, I'd rather die.
Lyn has been absolutely wonderful switching roles from gardener to nursemaid & keeping me supplied with all the necessities to make life palatable. Rest assured I will be back, (sometime !) which is more than can said for this old dahlia.
