The kindness of Twitter

People slag off social media for being full of false people. In my case the people you interact with are like minded people and you become friends.
Michelle and David in the picture are testament to this. We met in person this time last year when they were on holiday in the lakes. When I posted my mum wasn't well, Michelle messaged me and said anytime you need a bed (genuine offer) please stay we are 30 minutes from the hospital. So we did.
After an emotional visit to see mum who has been through it over the last 3 weeks. She actually opened her eyes properly and tried to communicate today after being in and out of consciousness. Was nice to have a distraction and lovely evening with these two.
