20000 steps in Amsterdam

This morning Robin left the hotel early with some of the kids to visit the Anne Franks museum and I took the rest, much later, to the Rijksmuseum (extra) where in fact Robin and the others did eventually join us.   In the afternoon, we "lost" the students in groups of 3 to explore Amsterdam (some hired bikes) and Robin and I lost ourselves in the spider's web of canal bridged streets that is Amsterdam until finally some 20,000 steps (according to my fitbit) and more than 12km later, we collapsed in Antonio's for pizza and pasta then back to the hotel to pack.  Home tomorrow.
