All was quiet. Mr C was out at Wisley looking at flowers in the mizzle, the younger Calliope was away and my sleepy student was being true to her name. So, while she was zzzzing , I sneaked off to have a coffee and a read. Good coffee, good book.

In other news: the Great Garden Bird Watch is complete for another year. Thank you to all the robins, tits, blackbirds etc who took part.
