Rainy day project

This little piece of work has been in my sewing bag for years, waiting to be made up into something useful. When my sister was staying recently she said she would like a needle case and I was so pleased to have a use for it at last. Since then I have been adding extra design round the edge to make it large enough. .it shouldn't take long to make it up.
One of my regular blip followers may recognise this as I made it at a class she gave at WI. it was an exercise to use as many canvas work stitches as we could. I also made one in red and purple and it has been my needle case for many years.
Another dark wet day today, just the day for needlework projects.
