Allotmenting

It was great to get back on to the allotment today, and we made some real progress; clearing the whole middle section of weeds and making a good start in turning the soil. We now have a lovely big plot of soil ready for planting, and some jobs I'm really looking forward to cracking on with. Mum came to help, and in return for her labour we supplied the lunch.
A couple of friends came over in the evening- we had plans to watch a film, but ended up talking and catching up in to the wee hours.
