Soggy Sunday

A mixed bag today...

Went for a short swim - 10 lengths of the 50m pool - my first exercise since being poorly. It's no good rushing into things, eh?

Then took a trip to local DIY stores to pick up a new stair handrail (plus fitting bits and bobs) for Mr A's pa. He is due out of hospital tomorrow, but is going to a rehabilitation home for a couple of weeks to get properly better - the same place my mum was in after her knee operation revision in 2014. But how strange is this - Mr A's pa has been in the same room (33) that my mum was in at that hospital. What are the chances of that, eh?

We also spent a little time at his house sorting laundry and bedlinen so that everything will be fresh for his return home.

We also stopped off at some of the car dealers on the way home as I'm thinking of changing my car, when I spotted this CHROME beauty!
