Waiting

A miserable day today weather-wise and a bit of work to do once I'd walked Bailey before nine. Home to the sad news of Terry Wogan's death and two programmes on Radio 2 filled with messages from people feeling sad too as the backdrop to my marking. 

I was done by lunchtime and ironed and made soup this afternoon before we walked around to the shops with the bestest friend. Bailey waited fairly patiently outside of the shops but couldn't quite understand why he wasn't allowed in as well. A wet walk back and a cup of tea and some holiday-in-eight-weeks-time talk. And then a bit of catch-up TV this evening before what'll need to be an early-ish night. Two weeks left of term 3 to do and they'll go quickly if this last week is anything to go by.
