A log fire

Spent the afternoon and evening with old friends who had lit the fire in their sitting room for cosiness. And it certainly proved cosy. We had time for a much-needed catch up before a delicious stir fry which certainly had ginger and garlic input as well as, among other things, prawns, chicken and peppers. The secret ingredient was peanut butter!

And desert was Atholl Brose with slivered almonds substituted for the oatmeal. Delish

I'd not been watching War & Peace but after watching some of this evrnibg's episode, I'll be catching up from the beginning on IPlayer. This is the BBC at its best
