Swans
Paid a visit to Seaton Park, to see how it was looking now that the worst of the flooding has gone. There is still a lot of water and ice on the part that never seems to dry up now, and that's where I found the swans, along with a coot, and lots of gulls and crows.
There has been some clearing of the debris from the rest of the park, but there's still a lot of work to do to restore it to normal.
The river is still quite high and fast flowing, but I did spot some goldeneyes and a heron. And in the trees near the river, I spotted a redwing, and later a treecreeper, shown in extras. Lots of blue tits, blackbirds and a robin, but no sign of the kingfisher nor the red squirrel that some folk have seen.
