Lobey Dosser

Today's blip again comes from the City and an old Cartoon Character called Lobey Dosser.
Lobey Dosser and Rank Bajin, astride Elfie, the only two-legged horse in The West.
It's a statue in Woodlands Road in Glasgow and it's creator was a gentleman called Bud Neill who drew cartoons for several Glasgow based Newspapers.
Lobey first appeared in 1949 in the Evening News
and continued in the Sunday Mail in the late 50's.
