Spoonbills up a pine tree
A perfect day and the perfect low tide for blipmate and I to walk across to a small island not far from the marina area of Motueka Wharf. Much to our delight the pine tree on the island had about a dozen spoonbills sitting in it preening and gazing out across the mudflat. I missed them flying off as they went to feed further up the lagoon. I did get many shots all slightly soft but then spoonbills can be burnt out easily and we didn't get that close.
Some extras that I liked in colour and mono.
Changed the main one from the 4 to the pair.
