nerves...

Sienna's nerves were in full display as she participated in the dress rehearsal for the Selfish Ladybird this morning. Considering it was her first time on stage, I totally understand. It was of course delightful and heartwarming and everything that is pure and sweet and joyful about childhood as these wee children ( 4 - 7 year olds) sang and danced and acted away.

I never knew before I had children just how many performances I would be lucky enough to enjoy - obviously the 'professionalism' increases as they get older but their enthusiasm and pleasure is there from the smallest to the biggest and completely life affirming.

Just wonderful.
