Shining Through the Grey

It was freezing cold, grey and very windy when I went out to run some errands this morning, so when the sun briefly showed its face just after lunch I wrapped up like a polar explorer and went for a stroll round the lanes.  As it had got even windier I fully expected to be completely frozen but the temperature must have risen by at least ten degrees since this morning and I actually got really hot..........you just can't win!!!

All the Spring flowers seem to be quite well established round here now.....I even saw some Buttercups out!!!  There were plenty of blips on the flower/blossom front for another day........if the weather is kind to us  :-)
