Drummer

We drove southwards, stopping at a vineyard where we met up with my lovely brother, our old friend Pauline and two bonus cousins for lunch. After that we went on down to Hove to R & M's house. Their kitchen table was entirely occupied by an immense display of Belgian beers - did this mean the Belgians were in town? It did, hurray! There was much coming and going of friends and family with various musical instruments, a supply of samosas from Southall, party decorations and a cake in the shape of a guitar. Eventually this all got conveyed, along with ourselves, to the Rialto in Brighton where there was a party to celebrate R's 60th birthday.

A fairly riotous evening of music ensued. It was lovely to see some of our old friends from Belgium - and to find out that Manu still follows my and DaveH's blip journals along with that of Ogatodomar! I think I sang at some stage and there was a fine set from the Irregulars, with Arvin doing awesome drumming.
