Rant alert!

New recycling bins arrived today.

These two beauties are for food recycling. I think aimed at the knobs who throw away more than they actually eat and can't read use by dates.

I think we are supposed to keep the silver one inside and fill with peelings ect then tip that into the bigger green one outside for the lucky bin men. No bin liners just slop!

We also had a new brown bin for glass and plastics. Saves a walk into town at least.

We still have our black box for paper and card as well as the big green one for every thing else but not garden waste that goes into the large brown bin.

Don't get me wrong here I have nothing against recycling. I always have recycled but 6 fucking different bins, someone is taking the piss.
We will now need to get separate bins inside as well to sort the stuff before it gets sorted.

And don't get me started on the information leaflets about the new bins.
The first was the best. It was basically a letter telling us we were going to get a letter explaining how it all works!?
Looks like the council tax is going to go up then.

And all this just so they can make a couple guys at the sorting depot redundant.
