Apples

It has been a foul day out on site today. I have been home, showered and changed out of the wet damp clothes for a while now and still haven;t warmed up,
In a day where other folk have been pointing their lens to the sky and capturing wonderful rainbow coloured clouds I have this, a carpet of rotting apples on the ground below the tree that produced them.
They are probably very bitter but I can't believe they have not been used by anyone for jam, jelly or even chutney.
