The new man in my life

This evening I met the new man in my life, the 4-day old son of D and K. He didn't open his eyes to see the present that we had commissioned for him, but his parents seemed to like it. The model, meanwhile, was hiding inside a cardboard box stuffed full of soft toys on the top floor of the house, just as far away as he could possibly hide from the baby!

Today I finished my contribution (on behalf of five Scottish universities) to a huge research grant bid. The final version will be submitted by all Scottish universities together to the research council in a couple of weeks.

Exercise today: morning loops in 29'50", sit-ups and weights.
