Songbird

After a weekend of work, I felt surprisingly on top of things today. Didn't stop me working flat out but at least it wasn't the usual stress out on a Monday at the end of my company financial year (today).

This signage made me laugh today. So true!

Tried out the new Piccolino's in Alderley for a working lunch. Probably a bit smart for me and my laptop on reflection but was nice to see what all the fuss was about.

Alderley Edge was full of yummy Mummies drinking coffee and hanging out. I looked on enviously. It's an ongoing conflict. Wanting to be off to spend time with Squidge and also needing to work as Angus isn't working at the moment.

Am sure I will always look back on this time in my life as being a little odd.

Stayed upstairs in my office until 5.30pm so I could finish work. Angus and Squidge had a trip to the library and I could hear them get in, her cute little voice chirping like a little songbird. I miss being with her. Torture to being in the same house but not able to really be with her.
