Brigid's Well...

Encouraged by freespiral I visited Brigid's Well on today her feast day, the start of the Celtic spring, Imbolc. A lot of people had the same idea ,lots of candles were being dipped in the well, primary school 6th class and their teacher out for a history lesson, and older couples devoutly saying the Rosary..however a sudden squall from Storm Henry sent everyone to cover...but not before my eye was taken by a shiny cross in the well water.
The extra is someone dipping tapers in the well.
