Holy Well at Gauladoo

Happy Saint Bridget's Day to you, it's the first day of spring here and this morning it did feel quite spring like, the less said about the end of the day the better! This rather beautiful holy well is in a remote spot on the north side of the peninsula overlooking an old promontory fort, I'm sure the well predates the fort. I've added an extra photo of the view along the coast. freespiral is doing an excellent blog on the Holy Wells of Cork, she has provided the link on her journal.
