Addressing the haggis

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o the puddin'-race!
Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye worthy o' a grace
As lang's my arm

When cousin Christine had a "ceilidh ready" conservatory built, we just had to help her warm it.
We flew down from Edinburgh to Liverpool to spend a wonderful day with her. Sarah came with us to be there with her Mum.
After a stimulating stroll around West Kirby boating lake, with the tide racing in and the wind whipping the waves over the unlucky, it was a wave roulette.
Ru and I were lucky, Christine, Winnie and Lindsay were not.

We helped with food prep and enjoyed being part of a relaxed Burns supper, with Lindsay doing a superb address to the haggis. The dancing later was equally relaxed and so much fun.

Christine certainly knows how to throw a wonderful party.

Great to meet so many lovely people and induct several into the tasting of haggis and the scottish country dancing.......relaxed family style.

As aye
