A short break in the rain

The squirrels have been in the garden very often recently;  perhaps any store of food they had has been washed away by the torrential rain we've had.  I often put out food in the birdbath for birds who can't hover at the feeders, although often it's the squirrels who get most of the food.  This one was being very still as it knew I was standing at the window taking the photograph.   The snow that was in the birdbath has melted and then turned to ice.
