Ladies Open ..

..at Lanarkshire ice rink.  I think there were 16 teams entered and competition was keen.  I hadn't realized the format of the day when I agreed to play and it turned out to be quite strenuous - 3 games; 5 ends then 4 ends and 5 more ends.  Tiring, but the committee had provided lovely home baking to keep up our strength.  We won our first game, but were closely beaten in the next two.  I then had to go back to the rink at 8pm for my mixed teams league game, which we won by a good margin - mainly due to the sweeping of our number 2 player and our skip who plays very well.
