snowfall...

if you look closely - you can actually see the snow falling - in this shot - in fact, every picture i took today - reflected the massive snowfall we are experiencing - it's a lot people - and it is day 2 of the storm - going into day 3 - with an expected fall of up to - 6 more inches or so - of course that can always change - you know how it goes with what forecasters predict - so i take it with a grain of salt - what has fallen has been the fluffy heavy stuff - good for snowballs and making snowmen - maybe building an igloo or little snow hut - for hiding in

it is the kind of snow which falls gently, quietly - the sort where you want to walk in it for a long time - to get lost in your thoughts and reflect - deeply about philosophical subjects that are neither - here or there - then come inside to make hot cocoa - curl up under an afghan with a good book - falling asleep for an afternoon nap - doesn't that sound lovely? - exactly the way the 1st day of february should begin? - and by far, and all accounts - it's the way to make for...
