Henry's Clouds
Last night after "Ole Henry" had blown a hoolie across Scotland, we were left with some weird and wonderful skies!
Not being a meteorologist in any way, I had to do a bit of "digging" to find out a wee bit more of the phenomenon that was before me.
My limited understanding is that they are Nacreous (or "Mother of Pearl") clouds. I could wax lyrical about them but if you are interested, more info on them can be found here!!
So it was with great delight that I woke up this morning and saw more!! Grabbed camera...headed out...and chased these little "Mothers" and managed to capture this!!
Here is hoping that there may be more tonight!!!
