Greenshanks, Lapwings and Gulls
As the sun made an appearance, I went for a walk along the river Yar in yarmouth. There were lots and lots of birds about, it's a nature reserve for water fowl. I think the birds in the main picture are greenshanks. When I took the photo I was thinking they were curlews, but on closer inspection the beaks were wrong - if anyone knows better, please enlighten me. I was shooting into the sun, but I liked the effect it gave.
The second photo is of a flock of gulls with a flock of lapwings in the background.
