Post 800m run

The other weekend I had an indoor meet up at Susquehanna University. It was a very large meet that had school from places as far as New Jersey and Maryland! There were tons of athletes everywhere and I was pretty nervous about running against them. I knew I wasn't ranked well at all in any of my events so I wasn't expecting much from myself during my run. Finally my race came around and we all got up to the line and the race began.   I bolted of the line and instantly I was in front of everyone, for the first three laps of the race I stayed about 20m ahead of everyone. In the final lap two runners caught up to me but with a last burst of energy, I sprinted the last 100m as hard as I could and I won my race! I was so happy that I won and I ran my fastest time of this year which is only 2:20 which is 16 seconds slower then my fastest last year but im feeling very good about this season already!
