Gladstone's Land.

A 17th century high-tenement house in the Old Town which has been restored and furnished by The National Trust of Scotland. Well worth a visit if your ever in Edinburgh. This sign incorporating a gilt-copper hawk is not original but the Scots word for hawk is 'gled' hence Gledstaines Land.
