The Wonderpass

Just outside my office - a transformation. I can only quote here what the Baker Street Quarter (a Business Improvement District (BID) focused on Baker Street has to say about it:

"We’re delighted that our vision for transforming the bleak Marylebone Road Subway into a Wonderpass has now become a reality. This idea was born from a real desire to improve the subway which was a poor impression of our great area. Gone are the wet puddles, poor lighting and dingy grey concrete. Say hello to a vibrant cultural crossing that’s a true celebration of our area’s history and attractions.


The project is a great example of a community collaboration project with our ideas, funding from TfL and Westminster City Council ward councillors, and production from Sing London. With the design featuring work from the Wallace Collection, Madame Tussauds and Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre the Wonderpass has truly brought the best of our area together".
