Forgotten buy

It's amazing what you find tucked away when you're looking for something else. I got this many years ago with a view to having it framed but there never seemed to be a bit of spare wall big enough. The artist has used quite a bit of artistic licence in painting this; you certainly wouldn't see the Spanish City as clearly as that from the other side of St. Mary's lighthouse without a set of binoculars. The design must date to before 1948 as the LNER ceased to exist then but sadly this is a copy, not an original. I also found another which looks like a copy of a 1950's poster; I may Blip that another day.

And no. I didn't find what I was looking for.
