Daffodil, for Dad on his Birthday

Dad would have been 83 today.  A year ago was to be his last full day. He said he wanted to visit the seaside on his birthday, so my sister took him to Saltburn by the Sea.  He enjoyed the crashing waves and a strong sea. We have a precious "selfie" of the two of them enjoying the moment. Happy smiles later as he posed proudly with his cake and candles. 

My first daffodil sighting of the year, in Maxwell Park.  Dad loved his garden. The spring flowers would be coming up now. Remembering happy times, with family all together, celebrating his day.
