One mans weed is another birds building materials

A little nest in among the fruit bushes, found when clearing away all the dead bindweed and grass.

Bit of a disjointed day - 

Started with a speedy lesson on pruning fruit bushes then went to join Jack and Max in the lambing shed. They were dagging three lambs (shearing the muddy bits off their tummy's, tails and sensitive bits) who off to meet their inevitable end tomorrow morning. 

Then carried on pruning, tea, off to one of the other sites to pick up big bits of driftwood (washed up in the storms) for firewood, lunch (jerusalum artichoke soup - dug up and cooked by me), sneaky internet break, pruning, a dementia awareness session from a volunteer who was there on the day the dementia group came for a walk around the farm, pruning and finally packed up.
