Frenulotomy

A homemade McFlurry to soothe me after a stressful day.

My mum, Baby L and I went to King's College Hospital today for a specialist to look at Baby L's posterior tongue tie and decide whether to complete the reversal operation.

We listened to the presentation and talked at length with the specialist consultant (not just a snip but a complete removal of all tongue tie tissue) and heard about the pain, blood and intense month long aftercare. We considered these facts together with Baby L's personal feeding situation and made the tough and emotional decision not to go ahead with the surgery at this time.

My first major motherhood decision, hope it is the right one.
