The Enchanted Wood and The Magic Faraway Tree

It was a stormy night especially for a few hours when the wind blew strongly keeping us awake. No damage here really, a few blown down fences and recycling bottles/paper from a bin that had blown over. The power stayed on which was a surprise and relief.
It poured with rain for most of the day with flooding in the field. The horses seem to like the eel of the wind in their manes and were charging across the field.

We are working towards the Reading and Writing badges at Brownies and a special Faraway Tree badge so lots of visiting different 'lands' planned.
This week we made our own Faraway tree and also filled in some forms to celebrate National Library.It was interesting reading why the girls liked the Library and reading books :)
