A special little gift

The daughter of some good friends is teaching at an international school in Belgrade, and our friends went to visit her and her husband over the Christmas holidays.  They also spent time in some other cities, including Amsterdam.  We'd told them how much we'd loved Amsterdam when we were there many years ago, and they brought us this lovely delicate little olive dish from the Van Gogh Museum.    The print on the box is The Harvest.   I love the works of the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists, which makes this even more special.
We always have a small dish of nuts on our kitchen counter, so I may use the dish for them so that I can enjoy looking at it every day.  :)
