Duolingo

My husband, in addition to being an amazing cook, home brewer, and cat lover, is also Puerto Rican. I can speak with everyone in his immediate family in english, but every time the holidays approach I realize that yet another year has passed that I haven't learned spanish. This year I was proactive about it and downloaded Duolingo, an app on my phone that gives me daily spanish lessons. As you can see, I've been able to keep it up for some time now. The 2015 holidays came and went without much progress, but I think if I keep this up for all of 2016 I will be in much better shape come next year's family gatherings. :) If you are looking to pick up another language, I highly recommend it!
