Pea shoot

I've often seen these garnishing an expensive plate of food but never found them growing until Sunday. Pearce's Farm Shop in Braughing were selling little trays of these, ready to take away.

I love the curly stems reaching out to grab on to a fence or a stick of bamboo.

I'm looking forward to these garnishing a piece of salmon for my dinner.
