Market Steps

A camera club walkabout round Stockport this evening...

It made me think "if these steps could talk".
How many feet must have walked this way up to the market place over the years, including my own. I can remember coming this way when I was a child.

The Underbank area of Stockport is now a conservation area and still retains some cobbled streets.
