This is Eco Daughter's African Giant Snail, she bought the snail with her birthday money when we were on holiday. She got him at the reptile rescue centre in Skye.

The kids named him so rubbish humour has not skipped a generation.

I had just cleaned the snail out, new compost and fresh lettuce.

I always tempted to say he, but Eco daughter having read her booklet on these creatures tells me they have both male a female bits.
