More than a hill

An exhilarating morning started when I was collected by a local lad and hung on for grim death whilst he tore down the dirt track on his scooter. 
We were bound for the  meeting point of the hill walk I had booked myself on the previous day.
The day promised to be hot and once the ascent started in earnest a breeze arrived and made it much more comfortable. It took just over an hour to reach the summit where this shot was taken and we passed through thick jungle on our way. A guide was essential here because without him we would never have found our way down. My other two shots are of some mountain fungi and sunset at the bar at our holiday home.
